just like the previous post
sou ji means second day of chinese new year in hainanese
decided that nothing fits the title better than words from my mother tongue
after all
i've always thought that hainanese are getting extinct :)
anyways, yes, as conservative as it may sounds
one chinese new year tradition that we never failed to do
is the visit that we do every year to the temple
and it's always Thien Hou Temple
this year prayers were cut short though
due to mum's injury and the not-so good idea of having dad walking and standing around too much
so instead of having lut lut (steamboat) at the temple
we went to midvalley during lunch time
valerie standing next to our mine, bro and sis's shoes and sandals
if you can spot us...
dad
sesat ehh?
the temple
there was some lion dance going on
a little camwhoring time
midvalley's deco
~~~~~~~
that's during the day
at night
we went over to 2nd aunt's house for her open house party
and u're right
definitely got shots here and there
handsome boys of the night ;)
me and wee kuan sis
the shot that uncle was trying his best to be at his best pose
but i guess...
with sis, grandma and last aunt
another shot of the handsome ones
me and viv
the seniors' table
carolyn sis..the ambassador of fatman steamboat
sis and wee kuan sis
the right picture to compare height
they were so caught up in the game that they did not notice us taking a picture
carolyn sis and her friends
sis and 3rd aunt
she was trying to see if she looks good with that clothes and bro's shoe
me and viv again
lil' cousins having the time of their life with all the fireworks
and that's how second day ends
this chinese new year gets better and more fun as each day pass
next post will be real soon
til' then
chaoz!~
