Sou Ti (Ipoh)

ipoh was where we were on the fourth day
mum, grandaunt and aunt decided on a uber random and super sudden trip to ipoh
and so all of us tagged along
went there early in the morning
snoozing in the car had never felt this good ;)
initial plan was suppose to be dim sum but it was cancelled
anyways, so instead of dim sum we went to the market
~~~
buying and negotiating price in the market was never mum's forte'
the same goes to us
hence the picture taking session
mum, sis and grandma
passerbys was staring non-stop when we were capturing pictures
with mum and dad
lil'cousins
as mischevious as can be
with grandma
i feel sis and I look like twins in this picture
suppose to be a family picture but bro gone missing
~~~~~~~~~~~
then we head to a restaurant for lunch
had yee sang as appetizer

lou-ing yee sang
a quick shot of 2nd aunt and uncle
the tense atmosphere of the night ;P

both best buddies were separated
can you feel the love? lol :D
~~~~
the rest of the menu was the norm
the fish, vegetable, noodles and so on
but there was this particular dish
which was the main reason why the trip to that particular restaurant
it's steam chicken
hold on...
it's steam d%^kless chicken
yes, i am not lying
and it is said tht this chicken can only be cook after 100 days from the day that he kena potong
anyhow, our meal end with the birthday pau!
the one that mum mentioned that we eat as a symbol of goodness or something like that
it doesn't matter
i am alright as long as its food
the pau
and when you cut it
wahh lah!
small pau
and that's lunch
~~~~~~~
later on, we went to a temple which is built in a cave
this....allow the pictures to speak to you instead of me
because it will do a better job
:)

the view from the roadside
on our way up

closer image
entrance
i think...

inner view

all taken while we were in the cave
the air was chill and cool inside the cave despite the hot weather outside

this is when we were climbing the narrow and steep flights of stairs
to reach the top of the cave
because there was another God placed there

finally...
half of the top part of the cave
and then we made our way down

ice-cream moment

with bro bro and sis

this the reason behind the face
yes, i fell down in the temple
due to the my non-existing bunga of a slipper
i slipped and fell
hence the spot
and the facial expression
lol:)
a very funny picture of sis
she didn't want me to take a picture of her eating the ice-cream
~~~~~
next we went to a private orchard
where they sell guava and pamelo
one of the many famous product of ipoh
and mum spotted this bunch of flowers that has 3 different tone of colours
beautiful, like she said
but she mentioned that they are smelly flowers too
pink ones
see the different tone?
these are the purple ones
the colour difference is not that obvious though
this is definitely the most obvious ones
orange
then this plant or flower
never seen it before
so just snap
mum and godmum learning and practising the art of plucking guavas
ta daa...!~
aunt found this unripe, mini pamelo
and sis pose with it
she had to...lol ;p
grapefruits as claimed by the uncle
i am not sure what it is
2nd uncle "admiring" the fruits
he weighed
and found out the weight
excitement over pamelos
...................
and then mum came along
admiring the pamelo
as always
fruits and plants are her favvoourriitee
pamelo
one of the essential ingredient for yee sang
yup, trip was good
apologies to my friends for not attending house visits
that's all for this time
til' the next one
chaozz!~
papparazzi shot
shh...
;)
