The Mysterious Benedict Society

Four children with unusual talents are recruited
For a top-secret mission.
There is only one rule - there are no rules.

What goes though your mind when you see this?
Unusual talents like superpowers?
Nahh...!~
If yo are thinking that this is a kid's book
Then yes, you are right
Half right that is
But don't judge too fast
This may be a kid's book
But the flow of the story
Makes you wanna continue on

Remember the post entitled "Disturbed"?
If you do then yeah, the book is about that
About us being controlled by the media
And of course, behind the media
There is a person controlling
Not controlling as in being the producer of a movie
The director of a movie
Or anyone in the right pose to control
But through subconscious message
Through the voice of children

Imagine this
While you were watching the news on television
You may think that the information that you are absorbing
Are all about world news, weather forecast and so on
Truth is, you are absorbing another info from another voice
Confuse?
Yeah me too
See, the main idea here is to confuse you
To make you think that the particular person
Is helping you
But truth is, he is the culprit
Here read this:

You can wear whatever you want, just so long as you have on trousers, shoes and shirts.
You can eat whatever and whenever you want, so long as it's during meal hours in the cafeteria.
You're allowed to keep the lights on in your rooms as late as you wish until ten o'clock each
night.
These are all rules that doesn't seem to be like rules.
Mentioned as if you have your ultimate freedom but then there are still rules to abide with.
Get the picture?

Let's continue...
Four kids; Reynie, Sticky, Kate and Constance
All kids..with unusual level of IQ
Were sent to this place called the Institute
To be spies
In order to reveal the secret of the creator
The person who constantly sending messages to your subconscious mind
I know, I know
The way of putting the story like this
Is not making you want to read this book
But trust my judgement
If you are a person who likes reading adventure book
This is a good book

Like I said
Many may think that this is a kid's book
But then like I said too
Don't pass your judgement too fast

Perhaps this might help;
"....like the Potter books, his story goes beyond mere adventures.." BOOKLIST
"For fans of roald Dahl...a blend of kid power, clues and adventure" SCHOOL LIBRARY JOURNAL
" ...quirky and sprightly" SUNDAY TIMES
"...a cracking adventure with puzzles, codes and diabolical villain..." tBk magazine

Read it if you feel like it;)
