The one session of the whole Chinese New Year celebration that every younger generation members look forward too. Just like what they say, the young ones get rich during Chinese New Year but the older ones feel the pinch.
In my family tradtions, during angpau ceremony, we will all lined up from the youngest to the oldest cousins while the older generation would be the opposite, those who are giving angpau that is.
Each and everyone of us would have to go through 3 steps before receiving our angpau:
Step1: Kneel Down
Step2: Put our hands together.
Step3: Greet "Gong Xi Fa Cai"
And of course, not forgetting our tq's before the others' turn.
