First day of Chinese New Year- the usual morning visits to both grandparents houses.
First stop? Paternal side of grandparents house where we started with breakfast prepared by my 1st aunt-she is a superb cook, while waiting for other relatives to come over.
Next? The Lo Sang! Not really sure what is Yee Sang all about but apparently it is a mix of some kinda vegetables, with either salmon or jellyfish and then sweet and sour sauce.
In a family full of chefs- our yee sang has our own customize flavours like orange peels, pamelo peels and other stuff that I have no idea what were added. (See the pictures of the Lo Sang ceremony in the next post).
And last but not least, the angpau giving ceremony. (More details next)

belt with bling blings.
